December Learning: Navigating Liturgy & Prayer, Basic Hebrew

Basic Hebrew is open to all and requires no prior knowledge. In a small group, you will learn your Aleph Bet and all the vowel sounds, learn to sound out whole words and practise reading in context. By the end, you will be able to read Biblical Hebrew and recognise the meaning of common words and roots. The course takes place on Tuesdays at 6.45-7.45pm, starting 1st December and lasting 6 months.

Navigating Judaism is for anyone who wants to deepen their Jewish learning. The next block of learning is centred on Understanding Liturgy and Prayer in the context of services. Again, no prior knowledge required. This course lasts 6 months and takes place in standalone blocks of 4 weeks. You can sign up to one, several or all of the blocks. This course is on Tuesdays at 8-9.15pm, on 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd December.
