About The Event
Join us for Pride Kabbalat Shabbat, bringing together friends from Shir Hayim and Willesden Minyan for celebration of LGBTQ liberation led by Rabbi Daniel Lichman. We'll celebrate the liberation of LGBTQ people and the Queer Jewish experience, and recommit to fighting for equality and freedom for LGBTQ people everywhere. Also - dinner!
As is becoming our custom, we will have a collective "Shechechiyanu", a blessing for new things in our lives. So whether you've finished your exams, coming out, moving house, have a new job or a new dog - bring your news, and we'll bless your transition with the community.
We'll also enjoy a potluck dinner together. Please bring a vegetarian dish to share. Rainbow salads, pies and challah welcome!
