Our community is built by individuals who are inspired by a vision of an egalitarian Jewish community which provides a space for connection, meaning, joy, healing and hope. We call ourselves 'Builders' because we are each investing our money and time to build the community that we want to belong to.
As a Builder, you pay choose the level of monthly fees you can afford on a sliding scale, which covers community costs and enables capacity building. You'll then be invited to meet with Rabbi Daniel Lichman and a member of our Hineni Team to identify your interests, talents and availability. Together, we'll find the best opportunities for you to contribute, and to support and develop you as a volunteer.
Questions about Buildership? Contact Tamara, our Community Co-ordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Prayer service contribution? Helping put together a festival celebration? Welcoming committee? Putting together a children’s activity?
One of our core values is 'Hineni' - the declaration of service and leadership 'Here I am', as uttered by Abraham and Moses in Tanach. We believe active participation and leadership by all makes for an enriched Jewish experience that reflects a wider diversity of needs.
If you would like to explore being part of the Willesden Minyan Team in some way, drop us a line below and we would love to have chat about the role you would be interested in playing.
